Sessions Live 2025: Mating in the Metacrisis
A two-day immersive experience hosted by Esther Perel

In a rapidly shifting world, how we connect with others matters more than ever.
Expectations on relationships are at an all time high. The norms are shifting under our feet and we’re making the rule book up as we go.
• What does it mean to cultivate true connection in a world of increasing isolation and division?
• How do we create space for agency and aliveness amidst rising uncertainty?
• What helps combat social atrophy and burnout?
• And how do we help our clients confront these challenges when we, too, are experiencing them?
Join renowned psychotherapist, author, and podcast host Esther Perel on Friday, April 25, and Saturday, April 26, 2025, for her eighth annual clinical conference, Sessions Live 2025: Mating in the Metacrisis: Connection, Polarization, and Eroticism in a World on Edge, a transformative, two-day convening where therapists and mental health professionals will explore our roles as essential guides in a rapidly shifting world, hosted by Pioneer Works in Brooklyn, New York.

The interconnected crises of our time—political, environmental, technological, and social—are reshaping the landscapes of both our outer and inner worlds, prompting us to find new ways to connect to our clients, to one another, and to ourselves.
More than a conference, Sessions Live 2025: Mating in the Metacrisis, is an opportunity to come together with like-minded professionals—out of our silos and clinical chapels—to exchange a diversity of approaches and ideas about relationships. Whether you’re a seasoned practitioner or new to the field, this gathering will expand your vision, your skillset, and your professional confidence.
This year’s event is hybrid, featuring incredible IRL experiences as well as rich virtual sessions. Through inspiring mainstage sessions, immersive workshops, and live case consultations, attendees will gain new perspectives and actionable insights to bring into your practice immediately.
